Aogiri Yuuhi & Suzumi Cels

Yuuhi and Suzumi are related through marriage, she was his brother's wife. After their mutual relative died, they remained close as Suzumi was the only relative Yuuhi had to rely on at the time. His brother was technically his half-brother, as Yuuhi resulted from a fling between his wealthy father and a servant. This, and being abandoned for his own good, was something that didn't do poor Yuuhi's self esteem much good. Suzumi is, naturally, a Tennyo descendent, but her powers aren't strong.

Episode #: 23: Mikage Revived Stats: 1 layer, A1 KEY END Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck, + 2 layout sketches Background: Matching, unstuck Comments: Suzumi stares quietly off into the dark while Yuuhi and Kyuu-san rush by helicopter toward Aya, Kagami, etc on the ship. As Yuuhi commented that Suzumi wants to fight with them, she is shown from behind and then as this silently thoughtful profile. I simply thought it was a beautiful cel of her, with the dark night tones around her and her hair moving slightly in the breeze, therefore I had to have it.

Episode #: 11: The Light Begins to Move Stats: 1 layer, A4 Sketches: 1 matching, unstuck Comments: Yuuhi turns to look at Aya as she asserts that the incident leading to the deaths of Chidori and Shouta's parents was the fault of neither of the kids. Both feel responsible, and Chidori is crying about how she had insisted on them going out the night of the deaths. For me the Chidori and Shouta arc is the beginning of much of the excitement in the Ceres, so of course I love it. And my Yuuhi's eyes look nice in the dark. ;)
