Seeking a Partner?

Female Go Players: If you would like to participate but do not have a partner, please contact me and include any preferences for the type of person you would like to play with (strength, general age, anything that might possibly matter to you). Finding you a partner should not be a problem (as long as it isn't too close to tournament time), and I'll do the best I can to find a good match for your preferences.

Male Go Players: We've always had Go players who wanted to be in the tournament but failed to find a female partner. I strongly recommend beginning your frantic search immediately. You also have time to train new Go players, in which case you should start quickly! If you can't find a partner and want one, let me know. I will do what I can to match up as many people as possible. Unfortunately there are no guarantees and you should do what you can to find a partner for yourself.

All Go Players: We have Pair Go practice sessions in the Boulder Kids' Club room on KGS (Boulder Go Club, under Social). Many players will not have their partners there, or won't have partners yet at all, so this could be a good place to find a partner. Jumping into a game there is also a good opportunity to try out Pair Go!
