The Blasted One

This is the personal web site for Jasmine Sailing, created by... Jasmine Sailing. (Who woulda thunk it?) Here you can find random thoughts and commentaries, plus archived excerpts and occasional entireties of some of my previously published fiction and non-fiction. I try to randomly add other sections (or update existing sections) as time and motivation allow. Note that I'm spacy, flaky, introverted, reclusive, often loathe to deal with the world... and therefore I'm prone toward being slower than a sun-baked worm on a sidewalk. There's no easy guessing when I'll update. I could fall silent for years, and then have a sudden spat of manic productivity. It happens. For more in-depth reading and exploration, I've included links to other my other web sites + a few other pertinent links.

P.S. Unless they are already dead, I have always (even as a young kid) picked worms up off the sidewalk and returned them to the safety of dirt and vegetation.

Note 01/30/10: Check the links at the bottom of the page for my mailing lists, my music profile on last.fm, and even my teensy Wikipedia bio. The most recent section added to this site was Poetry, which currently only has one entry. Before that I added an Event Journal section, which also only has one entry. Sheesh, I know. Give me another 5 years and I'm sure I'll remember to add more to the sections.

My Gallery of the Flesh: Due to the graphic nature of some of these photos of myself (though there is no sex, by common definition, or stark nudity -- only pain, blood, and needles), I can't recommend them to queasy people or minors. Some "normal" photos are included. (Updated: 12/14/06)

• Cyber-Psychos AOD is the international magazine that I spent a decade editing and publishing. "The Magazine of Mental Aberrations." It has long been on hiatus, but is on the verge of returning in a somewhat different guise.
• CPAOD News: a moderated, low traffic, news list about CPAOD and its contributors (myself included, of course). Moved: 06/16/07, please resubscribe if you didn't receive a subscription notice.
• CPAOD Discuss: Please join the above list for news, but you can join this one as well if you want an interactive chat forum of CPAOD-type interests. This list also moved, see the above CPAOD News link description.
• Our Blasted Lady of the Jellyfish: The First Church of Cnidaria (my church, my religion). If you don't worship Giant Sentient Jellyfish from Outer Space you are, quite frankly, a heretic. And you will die painfully, much like the rest of us.
• Of Absurdities, Injuries, and Emotive Eyes: My anime cel gallery. Scans of many of my cels (though I have numerous others that are still unscanned), tons of anime commentary, and a constant handful of cels for sale.
• Death Equinox: A convention I was somehow deranged enough to decide to be the chairperson for. Death Equinox was declared dead due to health and financial issues, but hopefully I'll eventually turn the web site into an interesting archive of DE past.
• My Last FM Profile: Easy to customise web radio that I've been having fun with since January 1, 2010. Feel free to be nosey by poking through my library and charts. I probably should be embarrassed about plenty of it but, well, as long as I'm enjoying myself... I'm sure it's hardly as embarrassing as it WILL be. I'm pretty eclectic and moody.
• Wikipedia Bio: My teensy and quite insignificant bio on Wikipedia. According to this page, I am a "living person". It's a nice thing to know! I'm trying hard to avoid needing a status change on that one for a while!
